With
the current technology available to healthcare providers there
is no reason that a hospital, office, or clinic cannot maintain
sterile instrumentation.
Everyone who provides for the sterile servicing
of instruments and equipment used throughout a medical facility
is required to keep specific records. Keeping records is not
as important as is the health and welfare of the patient, however,
these records do point to whether critical processes accepted
by the medical community are being carried out, or, if the processes
are being neglected.
Do you know what records
to ask for?
As legal counsel for a defendant it is
your duty to protect the welfare of your client, regardless of
whether you represent the patient or the institution.
If we see cause to question the techniques
or records, we will tell you our position immediately and without
prejudice.
